How it works

Relis don is a wonderful way to encourage a love of reading while raising awareness among young (and older) children about the importance of helping those in need.

Location

In a classroom or the gymnasium, this event can be held anywhere in your school.

When

You can hold a used book sale at any time year, at your convenience.

How

Invite your students to bring a used book from home and hold a book sale at your school. In exchange for a donation, they can leave with a new book.

Promotional materials (posters, bookmarks, etc.) will be provided to help you put on a fun event!

When you join the Relis don campaign, you'll receive a workbook created with education experts to help you plan engaging learning activities.

"Each year, we hold a reading week, which led us to participate in the Relis don activity. For an entire week, we collected books. The students helped sort them, create categories, set prices, and make posters. The sale took place one evening after class, and our little school raised $560 all on its own!"
