Currently, many hospitalized preemies rely on wired monitors to track their vital signs. These wires complicate care, increase infection risks, and make it harder for parents to bond with their newborns.
With the Smart Hospital Project, only a small chest patch and a bracelet on the wrist or ankle will monitor vital signs, allowing parents to hold their baby more easily and enjoy precious bonding moments.
Thanks to your generosity, $787,500 has been contributed to the seed fund for the Smart Hospital Project at the Montreal Children’s Hospital.
