This year, Enfant Soleil is donating more than $66,000 in Outaouais to improve the care of children in the area. It supports over a hundred healthcare establishments across the province, in addition to giving vital support to the four major pediatric centres, which provide specialized and superspecialized care to all children who need it.

Hôpital de Gatineau
When a child is ill, the whole family’s life turns upside down. Being able to get treatment in their region, close to their loved ones, makes all the difference. Thanks to this year’s donations, the Gatineau Hospital will be able to acquire several vital pieces of equipment:
- A vital sign monitor will track young patients’ vital signs and ensure their safety. Having a monitor on the pediatric floor can literally save lives.
- A defibrillator, an essential device for medical teams, will optimize patient care in the event of cardiorespiratory arrest, increasing safety and saving time when every second counts.
- A milk warmer will safely warm up breast milk and formula while preserving all their nutritional properties.
- Four treatment tables, funded jointly with the ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux, will facilitate examinations and make care gentler and safer for children.
